The Best Products for the Most Stylish Baby
Top British stylist and mum of 3, Aradia Crockett , shares her pick of the best products for the most stylish baby.
When tasked with finding the most stylish & practically useful baby products for Editors Beauty I scoured the market for pieces that did both.
Unbelievably I have got through two pregnancies without a changing bag! Using backpacks or handbags with the first two babas, this time it called for a stylish nappy bag. Jem & Bea has become the destination for this, and I chose the Marlowe bag in black. The simple, understated design goes with every outfit but the clever pocket system & reflective bottle pocket, and the fold away changing mat make this stylish but incredibly practical.
Whilst putting this pushchair together my husband commented on the ‘Range Rover’ like quality. Every part had been thought about, constructed out of the best quality material. The fold away system is just the click of a small button. We are still using the bassinet, which is spacious and luxe feeling. I also love the clip on coffee cup holder and free eco coffee cup, meaning you can walk, insta & sip all at the same time! It comes with a sun umbrella too and the seat unit is spacious and comfortable too. The icing on the cake comes in the form of an inbuilt buggy board, perfect for a toddler, but the compact design means you don’t trip over it. If your looking for a buggy that works, folds well but also completes your look, the Icandy Orange Onyx is just that!
The super chic design of this gorgeous carrier mean that it becomes part of your outfit, I often wear plain black and make it the feature! I have never had so many complements, even on a designer bag or shoe. Not only is it beautiful, baby wearing contributes to healthy development of your baby. It’s also incredibly handy if you need to have your hands free to do other things. I have even learnt how to feed in the carrier, the fact you can adjust the straps, making the top of the carrier more spacious, means you can accommodate this.
All In all, top marks Artipoppe, stylish, comfy, ethically made and cool. What more could you want!
The Sleepyhead is a fairly dreamy product anyway but now they have released all of their limited edition covers they are even more desirable. I chose the Desert Palm print, from their new Seascapes collection, inspired by the coastal shots of world renowned travel photographer Arielle Vey.
I loved the faded cover, making me think of 70’s California! Getting a new baby to settle in their cot is hard, and the Sleepyhead really helps with this. A must have!
The baby bouncer of baby bouncers the Baby Bjorn chair is made from super soft jersey fabric. It is cosy & comfy but sits well within the style & design of your house. The soft bouncing motion means you can gently rock your baby, Lyra sometimes falls asleep in hers! It’s also just so handy while you do stuff, she likes to sit in it and watch the world around her.
It is also ergonomically designed, giving your baby full and proper support for their head, neck and back. Now I just wish they made one for tired mums!!
