Bra’s and pregnancy are a bit of a catch 22. A baby pushing up in to your rib cage hardly makes strapping a bra around your chest the most enticing idea, yet if we want our breasts to return to their pre-pregnancy glory (or at least not drop to our knees) then a good supportive bra is a necessity, especially when exercising.
Until recently, I had been happily wearing my non-pregnancy sports bra’s to hit the gym but following a rapid growth spurt which has seen my bump rise right up in to my chest, I’ve started to find them uncomfortable and more than a little suffocating (oh isn’t pregnancy glam!).
So when I was asked to test out the new Body Silk Seamless Yoga Nursing Bra by Bravado, I thought what do I have to loose. Ideal for all types of low impact activity including yoga, resistance workouts, walking, cycling, or simply to wear as an everyday bra, I can honestly say, despite my expectations (which in all truth hadn’t been very high) that it is one of the most comfortable maternity/nursing bra’s I’ve tried (and the one bra I am not desperate to take off straight away after my workouts).
With a simple sporty design and multi way criss-cross strap, Bravado’s uber comfy, super soft Yoga Nursing Bra is seamless and wire-free, with a 4-way stretch fabric to mould to your changing shape, making it ideal for use both during and after pregnancy. It also comes with an anti-microbial technology to prevent the growth of odour-causing bacteria, so you stay feeling and smelling fresh. Always an added bonus!
