Who? Super cool, extension specialists’ Vixen and Blush.
Where? The Shoreditch based salon have decided to share the love and open up a second salon on Great Titchfield Street, right in the heart of central London.
What’s On Offer? Hair extension, more hair extensions and even more hair extensions. But don’t make the mistake of thinking the options at Vixen and Blush are limited. Clients can choose from micro rings or micro bonding (the method of which new hair is attached to your old hair; Micro rings is a glue free method using tiny rings, so you don’t loose any volume while micro bonding uses a keratin resin, great for fine hair), Russian Virgin hair or Brazilian Virgin hair (don’t worry it doesn’t mean an actual virgin, it just means the hair hasn’t been processed or dyed), a 1/4 head, ½ a head, ¾ head or a full head of extensions, colour match (a bespoke colouring service) and choice of length.
What I had? With only 45 minutes to spare, I unfortunately didn’t have time to experience their full extension service, so instead opted for a colour using this seasons must have Balayage (a freehand colouring technique to create natural looking highlights ) and blowdry.
What I thought? Based on the second floor over looking Great Titchfield St , Vixen and Blush is a stylish private hideaway, from the prying public eye. Their experienced staff are friendly and on-trend, and on spying my stylist’s enviable hair, I threw caution to the wind and told her to just do her thing! Thankfully my moment of insanity paid off and I left Vixen and Blush with one of the best colours I’ve had in years.
